You could push vibrant colors on me all day long, and I'd still be drawn towards the black. YSL's Pre-Fall collection gave me my black, but the pops of jewel-toned colors evoked the mid-seventies of the Opium couture collection Stefano Pilati def zeroed in on. I adore the black leather dress with a samurai shoulder and frog closures <3

I absoultely adore Sonia Rykiel, and I browsed through her shop today and really loved her new collection for Spring. Wish I had the mullah to splurge hardcore..want some of her lunettes as well. Wah.

 I seriously have this addiction to holidays, and dressing up the house in decorative holiday-themed banners, garland, etc. So it's no surprise I'm excited that Valentine's Day is around the corner, and I found some 'heart' covered fashions out in stores.

Armani Privé Spring 2011 Couture

When I first looked through the collection, my eyes were having eyegasms at the mere notion that this wasn't your standard collection. It was like looking at one of those holographic pictures. As I read the review, they were saying Armani didn't have the usual 'starlet' in mind, when he designed this, but that he's just gaga over Lady Gaga. The outfits were fun to look at, but I have to say, I adored the gowns at the end!

Punk meets Paris bordello. I like the idea, but not sure how well it all flowed, as an idea in whole. Some stunning outfits, to say the least. That white gown is wowzers! Killer wedding gown, lol.



Alexander McQueen RTW Pre-Fall 2011

I always love Alexander McQueen's collections, so it wasn't a surprise that I loved what I saw of the Fall collection. Too many to just post pictures of here, so I made a video for them, lol! It's very military which is always 'in' for my wardrobe. I cannot wait to see the shows for fall. There's a couple of shows tomorrow I'm looking forward to: Galliano/Dior and Armani Prive with Philip Treacy designing the headwear!

Giambattista Valli Pre-Fall 2011

After skimming through the Pre-Fall collections that are up, I rather enjoyed Valli's simplistic and retro feel to his collection, with a bit of 'wow' with the animal print shoes. I'm seeing a lot of very short cropped hair on the runway for fall and lots of suits. Louis Vuitton's Pre-Fall took me by surprise as well, with the very mod capes and face protector caps and clear-visored caps. The girls also had that mod-era stance in the photographs. Interesting so far..looking foward to some more.

'No colors anymore, I want them to turn black..'

I've had this desire to paint my living room walls black. Back about 10 years ago, my bedroom was entirely black walled with one white curtained wall and white rug. I really wish our house had black tiles instead of white. I'd even settle for painting some of the walls black, if I can't paint it all black : )

I like this too, which is our color scheme currently. Black, red and white.



Cut-outs in clothing and shoes! Spring, are you here yet?

I came across Mike Gonzalez's Pre-2011 Spring line on Corridor 40 earlier today, and fell in love with this line. Noticed I''ve been seeing cut-outs in everything from sweaters, tees to these sweet laser cut, Vera Wang booties that I absolutely drooled over.
